We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Consultant with 6- 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network environments.
The selected candidate will work closely with Australian/African customers, providing high-level technical expertise, consulting, and support across Cisco-based infrastructure settings.
This role requires solid technical depth, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage directly with customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and support complex Cisco network infrastructures
Provide L3-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Work directly with Australian / African customers to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions
Perform network assessments, audits, and optimization recommendations
Configure and support:
Cisco Routing Switching (Catalyst, Nexus)
Cisco Firewalls (ASA / Firepower)
Cisco Wireless (WLC, Access Points)
VPN Remote Access Solutions
Participate in network migrations, upgrades,
and transformation projects
Ensure high availability, security, and performance of network systems
Create technical documentation and solution design documents
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers when required
Technical Skills Required:
Strong expertise in:
Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
VLANs, STP, HSRP, VRRP
Network Security Concepts
VPN Technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower / ASA
Experience with Cisco DNA / SD-WAN (preferred)
Positive understanding of network monitoring tools
Experience in enterprise or managed services environments
