Key Responsibilities Develop and execute SQL queries to perform: Record count validation, Field-level data comparison, Data completeness checks, Duplicate record identification, Null/missing value validation, Data type and format validation, Referential integrity checks, Business-rule validation. Perform source-to-target data reconciliation across multiple tables and data entities. Validate data transformation and mapping rules between source and destination systems.

Identify migration discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis.

Prepare migration validation reports highlighting: Source record count, Target record count, Matched records, Mismatched records, Missing records, Duplicate records, Data transformation issues. Extract data from Oracle databases and perform Excel-based comparison and reconciliation. Use Excel functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, IF, SUMIF/SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, and conditional formatting for data validation.

Support reconciliation of large datasets by applying appropriate SQL-based comparison techniques instead of relying only on manual Excel comparison.

Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database. Advanced knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation and reconciliation.





Good understanding of: Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, Aggregations, Analytical functions, Data comparison queries, Stored procedures/functions.

Strong Microsoft

Excel skills for data comparison and reconciliation.

Experience working with large-volume datasets. Understanding of database tables, primary/foreign keys, constraints, indexes, and relationships.

Experience in ETL/Data Migration testing. Ability to understand Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents and data transformation rules. Valuable defect management and reporting skills. 5–8 years of overall testing/data validation experience. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Oracle SQL and Data Migration Testing experience.

Experience in source-to-target data reconciliation.

Experience working with Excel-based data comparison and reporting.

Experience in Banking/Financial Services would be an advantage. Exposure to SIT/UAT and production data migration validation is preferred.

Preferred profile: A strong Data Migration QA/Test Analyst who can independently work with Oracle SQL, analyze large datasets, perform source-to-target reconciliation, and produce clear Excel-based comparison and migration validation reports.
