Key Responsibilities

- Define and own the end-to-end performance testing strategy across applications, APIs, and platforms - including workload models, test types, acceptance thresholds, and entry/exit criteria.
- Design and execute load, stress, spike, soak, endurance, and scalability tests that reflect real production traffic patterns, including API-heavy and burst-load profiles.
- Architect performance test solutions for environments with authentication layers such as OKTA SSO and multi-factor authentication, Citrix-delivered applications, and Oracle NCA and web-based platforms.
- Analyze system behavior, identify bottlenecks, and produce explicit findings covering application, server, database, and network layers.
- Monitor tests using observability tooling (New Relic, Datadog, or equivalent) and interpret CPU, memory, disk, network, and database metrics in context.
- Produce test reports with risk assessments, root cause analysis, and prioritized optimization recommendations in collaboration with developers and architects.




- Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines so that performance regression is caught before release, not after.
- Drive issues through to closure. Own the tracking, follow-up, and validation of fixes.

Required Skills And Experience

- 7 or more years of hands-on performance testing experience across enterprise applications, APIs, and microservices architectures.
- Deep expertise in LoadRunner (mandatory), with proficiency in LoadRunner Web, API, Citrix, and Oracle NCA protocols ( this one a plus).
- Experience testing through authentication and access management layers, including OKTA, SSO, and MFA-protected applications :not just apps with open endpoints.
- Experience with JMeter (strongly preferred) and familiarity with other open-source performance tooling.
- Strong working knowledge of New Relic, Datadog, or comparable APM/observability platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret application, database, and infrastructure metrics and distinguish a code-level issue from an infrastructure constraint.
