We are searching for a Lead Software Engineer to lead architecture and delivery of full-stack applications using .NET, Microsoft Azure, and ReactJS. Responsibilities

- Design scalable full-stack solutions with .NET, Microsoft Azure, and ReactJS
- Lead delivery of user stories across estimation, implementation, and deployment activities
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Create technical documentation and artifacts that support solution design and ongoing development
- Mentor and guide engineers across the software development lifecycle to ensure quality delivery
- Apply AI-native practices within the software development lifecycle to improve outcomes
- Implement agentic solutions using Microsoft AI tools
- Develop and maintain backend systems, including SQL-based data solutions on Microsoft SQL Server




- Utilize Microsoft Azure Functions and Durable Functions to deliver cloud-based solutions

Requirements

- Seasoned full-stack experience (9+ years) using .NET, Microsoft Azure, and React
- Strong backend development foundation, including SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- Demonstrated strength in solution architecture, system design, and planning
- Proven leadership experience with effective stakeholder communication during the development process
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Functions and Durable Functions
- Knowledge of AI SDLC practices and how to apply them to delivery workflows
- Understanding of agentic solution implementation using Microsoft tools

Nice to have

- Knowledge of the Insurance value chain from submission to policy issuance, including quoting and binding
- Familiarity with specialty Excess products such as Excess Casualty, Qualified Liability, Medical Liability, Products, and Contractors
- Background in Actuarial reserving
