We are seeking a Lead Software Developer - Java with AWS Cloud to guide teams building Java and SpringBoot services, REST APIs, and AWS infrastructure. You will coordinate with the CTO organization and architects, unblock delivery, and strengthen designs and governance—apply today.

Responsibilities

- Lead ownership of the team’s technology solutions and delivery results
- Shape technical direction and enable informed decision-making
- Eliminate technology impediments as they surface during execution
- Coordinate with architects and the CTO organization to uphold governance and best practices
- Implement solutions that satisfy functional and non-functional requirements at high quality
- Refine system designs, architectures, and frameworks for continuous improvement
- Validate quality of data models, API contracts, architecture, frameworks, and code
- Contribute to estimation, planning, prioritization, and dependency mapping activities
- Encourage collaboration while providing leadership across teams and stakeholders
- Serve as a hands-on expert in AWS Cloud-native microservices architecture

Requirements

- Demonstrated 8+ years of experience building front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs
- Practical expertise in Java, Node.js,



and SpringBoot with API and microservices development
- Strong command of AWS Cloud offerings including ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and CloudWatch
- Knowledge of DynamoDB and Aurora database technologies
- Experience applying Agile methodology and using API testing tools
- Exposure to monitoring platforms like Splunk
- Client-facing communication strength with effective presentation skills
- Careful attention to detail and ability to operate in ambiguous situations with organized execution
- Experience leading teams and coordinating with Vanguard Database, the CTO organization, and API Economy initiatives
- Capability to remove technical ambiguity and deliver transparent, defined solutions

Nice to have

- Python familiarity
- Experience with cloud-native data pipeline work
- Proven work aligning business insight with API economy principles
