Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Architect and roll out microservices-based solutions deployed on cloud platforms
- Build and expose RESTful APIs to connect backend services with frontend applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce scalable, maintainable solutions
- Lead code reviews and mentor engineers with hands-on technical guidance
- Drive architectural decisions to meet quality, security, reliability, and compliance standards
- Apply Agile and DevOps best practices across the software development lifecycle
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and enable continuous delivery workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the full application stack
- Work with containerization and orchestration tools to deploy and operate services
Requirements
- Hands-on experience of 5+ years designing and developing with Java 21, Quarkus, and Java/JEE
- Expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Security, and JUnit
- Solid background working with relational databases including Oracle, Sybase, and PL/SQL
- Proven track record with microservices architecture, Azure Cloud, and Serverless
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts such as pods, containers, services, and Istio
- Practical experience using Docker and Redis in production environments
- Solid skills in building RESTful APIs and integrating backend services with frontend
- Working knowledge of Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and React (including Hooks)
- Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with performance tuning and DevOps practices
- Ability to implement UX designs into responsive, scalable, maintainable UI solutions using industry standards and patterns
