Our teams operate from multiple global delivery centers, supporting Zurich’s business units worldwide.

Our Opportunity:

You will act as an internal SAP Finance & Controlling consultant and subject matter expert, supporting both strategic transformation initiatives and operational excellence across Zurich's Global Finance Core platform.

You will participate in SAP implementation and transformation projects, application maintenance, enhancements, business request delivery, and incident resolution while taking responsibility for supporting SAP Finance solutions globally.

Working in a highly collaborative international workplace, you will help drive the evolution of our SAP landscape towards S/4HANA, automation, data-driven decision making, and AI-enabled service delivery.

Your role: What can you expect:

As an SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert you will have the opportunity to:

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Document functional specifications.
- Propose and evaluate solution alternatives aligned with architecture and business standards.
- Configure SAP Finance and Controlling solutions and perform unit and integration testing.
- Deliver high-quality operational support for Finance applications.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.




- Implement enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders and provide expert consultancy.
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA transformation, cloud migration and strategic finance initiatives.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects and external vendors across global teams.
- Contribute to process standardization, harmonization and governance activities.
- Identify opportunities for automation and service optimization.
- Leverage AI tools and capabilities to improve productivity, problem solving, knowledge management and delivery quality.
- Actively contribute to the adoption of an AI First mindset across the Finance Technology organization.

Your skills and experience: What makes you a great fit:

As a SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

EXPERIENCE:

- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Minimum 7-10 years of SAP FICO consulting and delivery experience in international environments.
- Proven experience delivering global SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades or transformation programs.
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple countries and cultures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing priorities in a complex global environment.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge constructively, influence stakeholders and drive outcomes.
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adopt emerging technologies including AI.

KNOWLEDGE:

- Strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI)



and Controlling (CO).

Deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes including:

- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Asset Accounting
- Bank Accounting
- Cost Centre Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Profit Centre Accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial closing and reporting processes in multinational organizations.
- Good understanding of IFRS and other accounting standards.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance
- Knowledge of IT Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management).
- Experience working within Agile and/or hybrid delivery models.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Strong hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New GL and Financial Reporting capabilities.
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications and user experience concepts.
- Experience with testing, deployments and cutover activities.
- Strong understanding of SAP integrations and cross-functional processes.
- SAP Financials certification is highly desirable.
