Role & responsibilities
Check whether prior authorization is required for medical services.
Submit authorization requests to insurance companies.
Follow up with insurance payers regarding pending authorizations.
Maintain accurate authorization records and documentation.
Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance representatives.
Identify authorization denials and assist with corrections or appeals.
Ensure authorizations are obtained within required timelines.
Follow payer-specific guidelines and healthcare processes.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with experience in Prior Authorization in the US Healthcare industry will be preferred.
B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or Pharm.D candidates are preferred.
Candidates should have valuable knowledge of healthcare/insurance processes and robust communication skills.
