Classification: InternalActive Directory Administrator – Job DescriptionJob Title: Active Directory Administrator / Active Directory EngineerJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Administrator tomanage, maintain, and enhance the organization's Microsoft Active Directoryinfrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for user and groupadministration, Group Policy management, directory services security, identity andaccess management, and troubleshooting AD-related issues across enterpriseenvironments.Key Responsibilities• Administer and maintain Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).• Create, modify, and manage user accounts, groups, computer accounts, andOrganizational Units (OUs).• Design, implement, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs).• Manage Active Directory Sites, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP integrations.• Monitor domain controller health, replication, and directory servicesperformance.• Implement security best practices, access controls,



and privileged accountmanagement.• Support Azure AD / Entra ID and hybrid identity settings.• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and directory-related issues.• Perform AD backup, recovery, and disaster recovery testing.• Manage service accounts and delegated administration.• Conduct periodic security audits and compliance reviews.• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and change records.• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams.Required Skills• Solid experience with Microsoft Active Directory.• Hands-on experience with GPO creation and management.• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM.
