- Job Purpose

To lead end-to-end Operating Expense (Opex) closure, financial analytics, and finance transformation initiatives across ABCL-NBFC, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-controlled month, quarter, and year-end results. The role governs the close calendar, accruals/provisions, prepaid & amortization, cost allocations, and exception resolution; strengthens internal financial controls, maintains audit readiness, and delivers decision-grade analytics and dashboards to Finance leadership and Businesses. The incumbent will also lead and manage Finance-led ERP transformation projects, including SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration, process redesign, master data governance, UAT, change management, and post-go-live stabilization, while coordinating across Finance, Technology, HR, Procurement, Operations, and Business teams to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of best-in-class financial processes.

Job Framework Compliance?oriented, control?driven execution with disciplined month?end routines. Responsibilities span close orchestration, accruals/provisions (including carry?forwards), Ind AS adjustments (e.g., 116 –

- Leases), prepaid & amortization, snapshot reviews, and cost allocations—with analytics to support leadership reviews and interim profit updates.

The role plays a critical part in the organization's finance transformation agenda by acting as the Finance SPOC for ERP modernization initiatives, including SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation of associated finance automation solutions.

Challenges Include

- Timely and accurate Opex closure with cross?dependency items (e.g., VPAY, Gratuity actuarial, Leave Encashment) and related?party entries.
- Managing complex reconciliations and allocation logic across multiple entities/cost centres and systems.
- Coordinating Tech/ERP and P2P to eliminate duplicates/system glitches; driving RCA to prevent recurrence.
- Maintaining data integrity and documentation to satisfy statutory & internal audits.
- Managing Finance workstreams during SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration while ensuring uninterrupted business operations and timely financial closures.
- Aligning existing accounting, Opex, reporting, and control processes with S/4HANA best practices and target operating model requirements.
- Coordinating with Technology, SAP implementation partners, business users, and leadership teams on UAT, data migration, integrations, and cutover activities.
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial master data, historical balances, open transactions, and reporting structures during migration.





Educational Qualifications &

- Experience

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) –
- Finance
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in managing accounting operations, preferably in a Bank or NBFC environment.
- Exposure to SAP, financial reporting, and audit handling is essential.
- Experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments, including participation in ERP implementation, migration, process transformation, or finance automation projects.
- Exposure to SAP FICO, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Project Systems, and Management Reporting modules preferred.

Define business requirements, perform process mapping, review solution design, coordinate UAT, validate data migration, support cutover planning, monitor project milestones, drive stakeholder governance, ensure control compliance, and manage post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution.
