We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer – Java to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance Java applications. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot, experience with microservices and cloud technologies, and the ability to mentor engineers while driving technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance Java applications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of software engineers.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Drive application performance, scalability, security, and reliability improvements.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and support their technical growth.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high quality.
- Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud deployment practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend suitable solutions.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Java 8+, Collections,



Multithreading, Exception Handling, and JVM concepts.
- Excellent knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Strong experience in REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
- Valuable understanding of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, SOLID, design patterns, and system design.

Good to Have :

- Experience working with high-volume, distributed systems.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular or React.
- Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in designing cloud-native applications.
- Knowledge of application monitoring and observability tools.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
