- Aero Engine/Gas Turbine Engine Exposure and overall working principles
- Module/Commodities/Sub-System exposure and understanding.
- Function of various features within each component
- Engineering Drawings:
- Ability to Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings (Mechanical Drawings not Electrical Drawings)
- To Understand Manufacturing Process
- Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T;). Definition of each symbol and its application
- Repair Techniques:
- Should be able to logically think and explain cause of Damage and various Damage types.
- Should be able to choose a Repair Technique based on different Damages and elaborate on Advantages and Disadvantages of that chosen Repair Technique.
- Should be able to write a detailed procedure/steps on each Repair Technique and explain the use of each Step.
