About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Laboratory Technical Manager with strong technical expertise in Solar Testing / Solar PV to manage laboratory operations, testing activities, equipment, technical documentation, and the technical team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in solar testing and a positive understanding of relevant testing standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day laboratory technical operations and ensure timely completion of testing activities.
- Handle and supervise Solar PV / Solar Panel testing and related laboratory activities.
- Plan, execute, and monitor testing as per applicable solar testing standards, SOPs, and customer requirements.
- Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain solar testing equipment and laboratory instruments.
- Review and validate test results, technical reports, and documentation.
- Ensure proper calibration and preventive maintenance of testing equipment.
- Lead and guide laboratory engineers and technicians.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to testing, equipment, and processes.
- Coordinate with customers regarding technical requirements,



testing procedures, and project-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, and laboratory standards.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure proper technical documentation.
- Train the technical team on testing procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
- Continuously improve laboratory processes, testing accuracy, and turnaround time.

Mandatory Requirements
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in laboratory testing, inspection, calibration, or technical services.
- Mandatory experience in Solar / Solar PV testing.
- Strong knowledge of solar panels/modules, solar testing procedures, testing equipment, and relevant standards.
- Experience in handling and troubleshooting laboratory/testing instruments.
- Experience in managing or supervising a technical team will be preferred.
