We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Control Inspector to perform quality inspection of tubular products and premium threads manufactured in a high-precision threading facility. The role involves dimensional inspection, thread inspection, drawing interpretation, gauge management, calibration, documentation, non-conformance control and ensuring compliance with quality and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities :-
Inspect raw materials, machined components and finished tubular products.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and specifications.
Perform dimensional and thread inspection using micrometers, vernier calipers, thread gauges, dial indicators and other precision instruments.
Conduct in-process and final inspection.
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI).
Evaluate products against drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
Identify, tag, segregate and report non-conforming products.
Maintain inspection records and product traceability.
Prepare Certificate of Conformance (COC) and review Material Test Reports (MTR).
Manage inspection gauges and support calibration activities.
Ensure measuring instruments are within valid calibration status.
Support Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.
Conduct quality checks/audits on the shop floor.
Ensure compliance with HSE, 5S and QMS requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior QC Inspectors.
Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.
