Key Responsibilities
Auditing & Reporting: Review financial records and prepare accurate balance sheets, profit-loss statements, and audit reports.
Taxation & Compliance: File corporate and individual tax returns, plan tax strategies, and ensure adherence to financial laws.
Financial Advisory: Analyze market trends, evaluate investment options, and advise management on profitability and growth.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Design fiscal budgets, monitor cash flow, and track business performance against goals.
Risk Management: Implement internal financial controls and detect or prevent fraud. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Certification:
Official designation as a Chartered Accountant (or equivalent CPA/CA qualification) from a recognized statutory body.
Experience: Practical work history or completed articleship training in tax regulations, auditing, and corporate finance.
Skills: Robust numerical proficiency, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and expertise in accounting software. [1, 2, 3]
