Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with robust hands-on development expertise in Java, microservices, reactive architecture, and distributed systems.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building scalable backend applications using modern Java technologies and cloud-native architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications.
Build and enhance microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
Develop high-performance, non-blocking applications using reactive programming.
Design and implement REST APIs, gRPC services, and event-driven systems.
Work with messaging platforms such as Kafka and MQ.
Develop cloud-native applications and support containerized deployments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Implement automation, CI/CD, observability, and security best practices.
Mandatory Skills
7+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on development expertise.
Strong proficiency in Java 21+.
Experience with Spring Boot / Quarkus.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in functional programming, reactive architecture, and non-blocking I/O.
Robust experience in Microservices and Distributed Systems.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, gRPC, Event-Driven Architecture.
Experience with Kafka / MQ.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Valuable understanding of CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices.
Experience with PostgreSQL / NoSQL databases.
Understanding of backend security practices including OAuth2, JWT, and mTLS.
