About the Role

DETARA LTD is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer Intern to join our team. The candidate will work on real-world websites and eCommerce projects, helping us develop, customize, maintain, and improve WordPress websites.

This role is suitable for someone who has a valuable understanding of WordPress and wants to gain practical experience working on professional websites.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
Customize WordPress themes and templates.
Develop and customize WordPress plugins.
Work with WooCommerce websites and eCommerce functionality.
Create and modify website pages and layouts.
Implement responsive designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Troubleshoot website errors and technical issues.
Improve website speed and performance.
Manage WordPress updates, plugins, themes, and security.
Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services when required.




Work with developers and designers to implement website changes.
Optimize websites for usability, SEO, and performance.
Maintain and update existing websites.
Assist with website migrations, backups, and technical maintenance.

Required Skills
Basic to valuable knowledge of WordPress.
Understanding of HTML and CSS.
Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
Basic PHP knowledge.
Understanding of WordPress themes and plugins.
Basic knowledge of WooCommerce.
Understanding of responsive web design.
Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
