Job Description – Welder (Alloy Industry)

Position: Welder
Experience: 3–4 Years
Industry: Alloy / Engineering Industry
Location: Halol, Vadodara, Gujarat
Working Hours: 8 Hours per Day
Overtime: Paid Overtime Available

Key Responsibilities
Perform welding and fabrication work on industrial machinery, structures, pipelines, and alloy/metal components.
Carry out Arc, MIG, TIG, or Gas welding as required for different applications.
Read and understand basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Prepare, fit, align, and weld metal components as per required dimensions and specifications.
Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and other fabrication-related activities.
Inspect weld joints for quality, strength, and defects.
Carry out repair and modification welding as required.
Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in proper working condition.
Follow required welding procedures and workplace safety standards.
Maintain positive housekeeping and use appropriate PPE at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications




ITI Welder / relevant technical qualification preferred.
3–4 years of relevant industrial welding experience, preferably in alloy, steel, foundry, casting, or heavy engineering industries.
Valuable knowledge of welding techniques, electrodes, welding machines, and consumables.
Ability to perform quality welding with proper finishing and alignment.
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and measurements.
Ability to identify and rectify common welding defects.
Knowledge of industrial safety practices.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
