About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Netezza Developer whose primary focus is hands-on development — building, optimizing, and maintaining data solutions on IBM Netezza.The role also requires solid working knowledge of Netezza Performance Server as a Service (NPSaaS)
and cloud-hosted configurations, to support deployment, scaling, and day-to-day operational needs on IBM Cloud.
Required Skills
6+ years of hands-on development experience with IBM Netezza (IIAS/NPS) development: SQL, PL-SQL/stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Working knowledge of IBM Netezza Performance Server (NPS) SaaS on AWS, including migration behaviors, custom function compatibility, and configuration differences from on-prem IIAS.
Solid SQL performance tuning and query optimization skills specific to Netezza's MPP architecture.
Experience with ETL tools (DataStage or similar) integrated with Netezza.
IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) or equivalent enterprise job-scheduling tool experience.
General cloud platform familiarity (IBM Cloud primarily; AWS/Azure/GCP a plus) for hosting, networking basics, and configuration relevant to Netezza workloads.
