Role Description The DFT Engineer will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full time capacity, collaborating closely with design and verification teams to implement and optimize Design-for-Test methodologies for complex semiconductor designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing test plans and test cases, implementing scan insertion and ATPG, performing test execution and debugging, and ensuring high test coverage and product quality. The role involves analyzing functional and structural test results, identifying root causes of failures,



and driving corrective actions.

The DFT Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of testing flows, documentation of methodologies and best practices, and alignment with project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering and Testing, with experience in semiconductor or embedded product environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Test Cases, including developing, running, and maintaining test suites for DFT implementations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Functional Testing, with the ability to validate design functionality under various test scenarios.
- Solid understanding of DFT concepts such as scan, BIST, ATPG, boundary scan, and test coverage analysis.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools for DFT (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor tools) and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru.
