Krti Consulting is looking for a politically sharp, experienced journalist with 3–4 years of field reporting experience.

Amaresh Rai is a politics coach who specializes in helping aspiring and active political leaders craft practical, personalized strategies to win elections. Drawing on early success managing a municipal campaign at age 25, Amaresh has since advised multiple candidates and parties on funding, team-building, and voter engagement. The focus is on building a loyal voter base through targeted messaging, rather than relying on sporadic support.

Role Description This full-time Journalist (Reporting – Delhi) role is an on-site position based in West Delhi. The journalist will research and report on political developments, election campaigns, and grassroots activities connected to Amaresh Rai’s coaching and consulting work. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering information from field visits, interviews, and public events; drafting news stories, press releases, and reports; and collaborating with the coach and internal team to ensure accurate and timely coverage.

The role also involves monitoring media and political trends, preparing broadcasting-ready content where required, and maintaining organized documentation of political insights. The journalist will be expected to work within tight deadlines while upholding ethical reporting standards and maintaining confidentiality where necessary.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Writing and News Writing skills for clear, accurate, and engaging political reporting.




- Candidates should possess solid Research skills to investigate political developments, verify facts, and gather background information.
- Candidates should possess the ability to draft and structure Press Releases that effectively communicate key political messages.
- Candidates should possess Broadcasting-related skills, including preparing scripts or content suitable for audio or video formats.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, or a related field are beneficial.
- Strong understanding of Indian politics and current affairs, especially at local and state levels, is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in West Delhi, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi, with robust interpersonal skills for interviews and field reporting.
- Commitment to ethical journalism, accuracy, and non-partisan reporting while working closely with political clients.

This role is only for reporting.
