Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborating with business, functional partners and technology leadership in defining features and specifying requirements
- Liaising with different teams and stakeholders to ensure technical implementation is in line with business goal
- Ensuring high level of performance, availability, sustainability and security of the system
- Supporting executing team with resolution for roadblocks and interdependencies
Experience and Skills
- Qualification: B.E/ B.S.C/ B.C.A in IT/Computers or related field
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Java/J2EE
- Experience working on Java / J2ee based enterprise solutions
- Must have experience on Apache SOLR/ Elastic Search
- Experience in full-text search, hit highlighting, faceted search, real-time indexing, dynamic clustering, database integration using Solr or Elastic search engine
- Knowledge of Lucene Java search library at its core for full-text indexing and search, and experience on REST-like HTTP/XML and JSON APIs
- Proficient with Linux workplace
- Nice to have experience in NO SQL database
- Experience of software engineering process and design patterns with a background of programming and development.
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
