Role Purpose

Infrastructure, Network &

- Cybersecurity Operations is responsible for the design, implementation, service delivery, and 24×7 operational availability of enterprise infrastructure, network operations, and security services across the Corporate Headquarters and 60+ renewable energy plant sites (Wind, Solar, and Hybrid) across India.

The role ensures high availability of business-critical IT and OT systems, resilient and secure network connectivity, cybersecurity compliance, effective IT service management, and operational excellence. The incumbent will lead infrastructure, network, and support teams while ensuring adherence to ISO 27001:2022, IEC 62443, CEA Cyber Security Guidelines, DPDP Act 2023, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Infrastructure Operations

- Own the end-to-end lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure, including servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backup, cloud services, and data center environments.
- Ensure high availability, capacity planning, performance optimization, and disaster recovery readiness of critical systems.
- Establish and monitor infrastructure service standards, SLAs, and operational KPIs.
- Drive modernization and continuous improvement initiatives across enterprise infrastructure.

Network Operations &

- Connectivity

- Manage enterprise-wide LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, internet connectivity, and remote site communications.
- Ensure reliable connectivity between Corporate HQ, regional offices, renewable energy plants, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee routing, switching, ISP management, QoS optimization, and network performance monitoring.
- Lead network architecture reviews, resilience planning, redundancy design, and troubleshooting activities.

Cybersecurity &

- Security Operations

- Manage enterprise security infrastructure, including:
- FortiGate Firewalls
- FortiManager
- FortiAnalyzer
- NAC Solutions
- VPN Technologies
- Web Filtering Platforms
- Endpoint and Network Protection Controls

- Ensure security hardening, segmentation, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring.
- Drive proactive threat mitigation, security incident handling, and remediation.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity teams for audits, assessments, penetration testing, and compliance initiatives.

IT/OT Network Security &

- Industrial Connectivity





- Oversee secure integration and connectivity of IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
- Implement Purdue Model architecture and IEC 62443 security principles across renewable energy assets.
- Ensure secure plant connectivity, segmentation, and controlled access mechanisms.
- Partner with plant operations, SCADA, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to maintain secure OT operations.
- Support risk assessments and remediation programs for industrial control systems.

IT Service Management (ITSM)

- Own Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management processes.
- Lead major incident management and crisis recovery efforts for business-critical outages.
- Ensure timely root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Maintain service reporting dashboards and drive SLA adherence across support teams and vendors.
- Govern CMDB, asset inventories, configurations, SOPs, and operational documentation.

Compliance, Governance &

- Risk Management

- Ensure compliance with:
- ISO 27001:2022
- CEA Cyber Security Guidelines
- IEC 62443 Framework
- DPDP Act 2023
- Internal security and governance standards

- Support internal and external audits by maintaining controls, evidence repositories, and remediation plans.
- Drive policy implementation, operational governance, and risk mitigation initiatives.

Automation &

- Operational Excellence

- Identify opportunities to automate operational processes and routine activities.
- Utilize PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Power Automate, and related tools to enhance efficiency and reporting.
- Lead initiatives for proactive monitoring, self-healing capabilities, and operational analytics.
- Improve operational visibility through dashboards and management reporting.

Vendor &

- Stakeholder Management

- Manage infrastructure, security, telecom, managed services, and support partners.
- Drive vendor governance, performance reviews, contract compliance, and service improvements.
- Collaborate with business functions,



manufacturing/plant teams, engineering, cybersecurity, and leadership stakeholders.

Team Leadership

- Lead and develop infrastructure, network, and support teams across multiple locations.
- Establish accountability, service discipline, and operational ownership culture.
- Mentor technical teams and build succession capabilities.
- Manage resource planning, capability building, and workforce productivity.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Master's Degree/MBA preferred.
- Professional certifications preferred:
- CCNP / CCIE
- Fortinet NSE Certifications
- CISSP / CISM / CEH
- ITIL Foundation / Expert
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
- IEC 62443 Certifications

Experience

- 10-20+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Network Operations, and Cybersecurity.
- Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role managing enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and network operations.
- Experience supporting geographically distributed operations, industrial sites, manufacturing facilities, or renewable energy plants.
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT and OT environments with 24x7 operational responsibility.
