Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced iOS Developer to contribute to an offline-first mobile application designed for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. This application is built on the

Salesforce platform and supports field representatives and healthcare professionals across the full customer engagement lifecycle, including visit planning, account management, content delivery, and dynamic form-based workflows.

The app is designed for both iPhone and iPad and relies heavily on on-device synchronization between the mobile client and Salesforce data. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modular iOS development, offline data handling, and delivering high-quality, robust mobile experiences under strict standards for quality, crash safety, and localization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain features across modular iOS components, including Visit, Planner, CLM,

LAC, Dynamic UI, Core Services, Managed Events, and Accounts.
- Develop and improve the offline data layer, including local persistence, synchronization logic, and merge handling between background writes and main-thread reads.
- Implement dynamic, server-configured user interfaces using data-driven forms and pages.
- Write unit tests and participate in code quality initiatives focused on crash safety, concurrency, and localization.
- Support and improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability across the mobile platform.
- Participate in code reviews and align with team architecture and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver features that support field teams and HCP engagement workflows.

Required Qualifications

- Strong experience with Swift (primary language; legacy code may exist).
- Proficiency in UIKit and/or SwiftUI, including programmatic UI development, view controller lifecycle,

Auto Layout, and modern iOS UI patterns.
- Solid understanding of SQLite and SQL-based data access for list display, search, filtering,



and local persistence.
- Experience with iOS architecture patterns such as Coordinator, Dependency Injection,

protocol-oriented design, and modular application structure.
- Strong knowledge of data and concurrency principles, including SQLite/FMDB persistence, GCD,

async/await, actors, @MainActor, and thread-safety.
- Experience working on offline-first applications with synchronization workflows and data consistency requirements.
- Familiarity with Xcode, Swift Package Manager (SPM), CocoaPods, XCTest, Git, and pull request review workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD, fastlane, crash triage, and application performance/logging awareness.
- Understanding of localization best practices and commitment to quality-driven development.

Salesforce Knowledge

No extensive Salesforce development background is required, but the candidate should be comfortable learning core Salesforce concepts as the platform is deeply integrated into the app.

Basic familiarity with or willingness to learn:

- Salesforce data model, including standard objects, custom objects, fields, and Data Lake entities such as __dlm.
- SOQL query language and its local execution/interpretation within the app.
- Salesforce Mobile SDK fundamentals, including OAuth authentication and device-to-org synchronization patterns.
- Metadata-driven UI concepts such as FlexiPage and dynamic forms.
- General Salesforce platform concepts, including orgs, sandboxes, records, and data access models.

Preferred Competencies

- Experience building enterprise mobile applications for field sales or healthcare use cases.
- Strong understanding of offline-first architecture and conflict resolution.
- Ability to balance product delivery with reliability and maintainability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team-based engineering setting.
