Role Description The Interior Design Intern will support the design team with concept development, space planning, furniture layouts, and FF&E; selections for residential projects. Day-to-day tasks will include assisting with drawings and presentations, preparing mood boards and material palettes, coordinating with vendors, and helping document project details and specifications. The intern will also contribute to site visits, basic measurements, and progress tracking, while maintaining transparent communication with supervisors and project stakeholders.

This is an internship role based in Kolkata with a hybrid work arrangement, combining in office collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning,



with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
- Knowledge of Furniture design and selection, including an understanding of FF&E; (fixtures, furniture, and equipment) appropriate for residential interiors.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present ideas visually and verbally to team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic skills in presentation tools such as PowerPoint or InDesign.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow structured processes in a fast-paced project environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Candidates must be based in Kolkata and should have relevant experience in the Construction, Real Estate, or Interior Design industry.
