About this role The Integration Architect is Refold’s resident integration expert who owns the architecture for our hardest enterprise problems. You’ve spent years in the integration space, know iPaaS platforms inside out, and have a deep, hands-on command of APIs and how enterprise systems talk to each other. You set the technical approach where there’s no playbook and serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise accounts.

- Team: Senior technical IC role within the delivery org, owning enterprise architecture and implementations
- Building: Mission-critical agentic AI integrations at enterprise scale — the problems for which no playbook exists yet.
- You’ll work with CTOs, VPs of engineering, and integration leaders at Fortune 500 enterprises and $50M+ ARR software companies.





What you'll do:

- Own the architecture for the hardest problems. Design complex, mission-critical agentic AI integrations spanning Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow, and contemporary data ecosystems, especially where no playbook exists yet.
- Be the technical POC for enterprise accounts. Serve as the senior technical voice enterprise customers trust and the technical owner of their most important integrations.
- Make the decisive technical calls. Own the hard decisions on data modelling, agentic orchestration, authentication, idempotency, error handling, and performance under real enterprise load.
- Speak credibly to enterprise security. Be the trusted technical voice with customers’ security and compliance teams on VPC, mTLS, SSO, and our SOC 2 Type II / ISO 27001 / ISO 42001 / HIPAA posture.
- Shape product direction. Be the most credible field voice in the room. Translate patterns observed across accounts and deals into identified gaps, reference architectures, and durable product bets, partnering directly with Product and Engineering on the roadmap.
- Codify what works. Turn hard-won learnings into reference architectures, integration patterns, and runbooks that scale across the delivery team and feed the support knowledge base.
- Bring architecture expertise to high-stakes deals.



Partner with pre-sales on the prospects where getting the technical approach right is what wins, leading architecture reviews and technical deep dives.

What we're looking for:

- 6-10 years in integration engineering and solutions architecture, with a substantial, demonstrable background in the integration space.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with iPaaS/integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, SnapLogic, Fivetran, TIBCO, and SAP CPI); you’ve architected and delivered enterprise integrations using an integration platform.
- Excellent, deep understanding of APIs and the integration landscape, REST, GraphQL, SOAP, webhooks, and auth models.
- A deep technical problem-solver, you design solutions from first principles for problems that have no established answer.
- Deep expertise in enterprise integration architecture, data pipelines, and modern cloud infrastructure.
- Strong technical communication is credible as the senior technical voice with CTOs, VPs of engineering, and integration leaders.
- Startup-grade agency, high ownership, low ego, comfortable building the playbook as you go.

Nice to have:

- Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models, agent orchestration).
- Prior principal/staff solutions architect, lead integration engineer, or founding solutions engineer role at a high-growth enterprise startup.
- Direct experience integrating with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, or ServiceNow.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, and Azure), containerised environments (Docker and Kubernetes), and modern data infrastructure.
