Role Description The Instructional Designer will design, develop, and refine engaging learning experiences and training programs across Horizon’s focus areas. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, requiring close collaboration with subject matter experts, project managers, and client stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting learning needs analysis, defining learning objectives, and creating curricula, course outlines, and storyboards for both classroom and digital formats.

The role involves developing learning materials such as presentations, facilitator guides,



participant manuals, e-learning modules, videos, and assessments, while aligning content with adult learning principles and industry standards.

The Instructional

Designer will also support implementation on learning management systems, monitor learner feedback and performance data, and recommend improvements to enhance learning effectiveness and impact.

Qualifications

- Solid capabilities in Needs Analysis and Learning Management to identify performance gaps and determine appropriate learning solutions.
- Proficiency in Instructional Design and Curriculum Development to create structured, outcomes-based learning programs and materials.
- Experience in Training & Development to support delivery, facilitation, and evaluation of instructor-led and blended learning initiatives.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM), and familiarity with learning management systems or digital learning platforms.
- Ability to work with subject matter experts in domains such as public health, digital health, AI, and data analytics is an advantage.
- Strong written and visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present complex concepts in clear, accessible formats.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with diverse stakeholders, and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Public Health, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications in instructional design or learning technologies are a plus.
