Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP) is a unique Training and Research Academy founded in 1982 as a memorial to Late Rambhau Mhalgi, a prominent political figure from Maharashtra, India. Inspired by the vision of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, RMP focuses on grooming socio-political activists into effective leaders through structured training and orientation. The academy addresses the broader crisis of leadership across public life, including politics, social service, and other civic domains.
RMP serves as a center for public-awareness initiatives, capacity-building programs, and research projects that aim to contribute to a better and more accountable society for all.
Role Description The Information Technology Assistant will provide day-to-day technical support for staff and systems at Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini.
Responsibilities include assisting with hardware and software setup, maintaining computer systems and network connectivity, and supporting printers and other peripherals. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues,
escalating complex problems to senior IT personnel, and documenting solutions for future reference.
The Information Technology
Assistant will collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure for training and administrative activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mira Bhayandar.
Key Requirements:
- Good knowledge of computers and IT systems
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of computers and printers & other IT equipment’s.
- Knowledge of server, networking and Wi-Fi systems.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with non-technical team members.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an academic or training setting is an added advantage.
