Electrician Experience : 5 to 7-year Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems in compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety standards. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of troubleshooting complex electrical issues in commercial or industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities Installation &
• Wiring: Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, control panels, lighting systems, switchboards, and motor control centers (MCC). Troubleshooting &
• Diagnostics: Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components using testing devices (e.g., multimeters, ohmmeters) to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment/repair. Maintenance &
• Repairs: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical machinery and rapidly respond to emergency electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and architectural drawings to ensure accurate installation and wiring paths. Compliance &
• Safety: Ensure all work strictly adheres to local electrical codes (e.g., NEC/IEC standards),
company safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts used, inspections, and repairs performed.
Qualifications &
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of $3$ to $5$ years of qualified experience as an Electrician, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment. Education/Certification: Trade school diploma, vocational certification, or a recognized electrical apprenticeship/license. Technical Skills: o Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints. o Strong working knowledge of power distribution, lighting systems, and motor controls. o Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools safely. Safety Awareness: Certified in industrial safety practices (e.g., Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, or OSHA/local equivalent safety standards).
Valid Work Permit
Receiver (WPR) certification is a strong advantage. Soft Skills: Good problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Qualifications: High School Technical Training Certificate
Age: 25 to 35 Max.
