Role Description The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects in alignment with project specifications, codes, and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing load calculations, equipment sizing, duct and piping layout design, and preparing detailed drawings and technical documentation. The role involves coordinating with internal MEP design teams, architects, and external stakeholders to ensure integrated and efficient building services solutions.

The engineer will review designs for constructability, support site teams with technical clarifications, and contribute to value engineering and cost optimization. This is a full-time, on-site role based in various locations (Bangalore, Madurai, Chennai and Coimbatore).

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong skills in HVAC Design and HVAC system configuration, including load calculations and equipment selection.
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to apply engineering principles to building services design.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Plumbing and related building services to collaborate effectively in MEP coordination.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in performing detailed engineering calculations and interpreting technical standards and codes.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience using HVAC design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) is preferred.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with local and international building codes, energy efficiency standards, and green building practices is an advantage.

Desired Candidate: HVAC Design Engineer with Full knowledge of Heat load, Design of HVAC system, should have knowledge in DX, VRF, Chilled water system, Air cooled Chillers and Refrigeration systems. read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for new projects. They also draft new plans to design ductwork and piping systems for that particular System.
