About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and people-oriented HR Manager to manage and strengthen our HR function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, performance management, policies, and compliance.
The person should be comfortable working in a rapid-paced, growing organization and should have the ability to independently manage day-to-day HR activities while building a strong and positive work culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Hiring
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
- Understand hiring requirements from different departments and create effective hiring plans.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and other channels.
- Conduct initial screening and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain recruitment pipelines and ensure positions are closed within defined timelines.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pool for current and future requirements.
HR Operations
- Manage employee onboarding, documentation, attendance, leave, and HR records.
- Maintain accurate employee databases and personnel files.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes including joining, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure timely resolution of employee-related queries.
- Implement and maintain HR policies and processes.
Performance Management
- Establish and manage performance appraisal processes.
- Work with managers to define KRAs/KPIs and track employee performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and support performance improvement plans where required.
- Identify training and development requirements across teams.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Build a positive and high-performance work culture.
- Address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues professionally.
- Organize employee engagement activities and team initiatives.
- Act as a bridge between employees and management.
- Promote employee retention and improve overall employee experience.
Compliance & Policies
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory HR requirements.
- Maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and internal processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and records for audits and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in HR/People Operations, preferably in a startup or fast-growing organization.
- Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment and HR operations.
- Good understanding of performance management, employee engagement, and HR policies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle employee grievances and sensitive situations professionally.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good working knowledge of HRMS, recruitment platforms, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in EdTech, Immigration, FinTech, Education, Recruitment, Consulting, or other high-growth organizations will be preferred. Key Skills
