About the Role

Symbiosis International School, Viman Nagar, Pune, is looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resources Coordinator – Talent Acquisition (IB & Cambridge Curriculum) to support its growing international-school academic workforce.

The position will primarily focus on Talent Acquisition and sourcing of high-quality teaching professionals with IB and Cambridge curriculum experience. The incumbent will work closely with School Leadership, Academic Heads and HR to understand staffing requirements and identify, attract, assess and onboard suitable teaching talent.

The ideal candidate should have solid exposure to HR recruitment within International / IB / Cambridge schools, excellent communication skills and the ability to source teaching professionals through LinkedIn, Naukri, skilled networks and other recruitment channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition – IB Teachers

- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for IB curriculum teaching positions.
- Understand academic staffing requirements from School Leadership and Academic Heads.
- Source qualified candidates for PYP, MYP, DP, IGCSE, Cambridge and other international curriculum positions.
- Identify and engage experienced teachers through LinkedIn, Naukri, recruitment databases, professional networks, referrals and other sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline of qualified IB and Cambridge educators.
- Conduct preliminary candidate screening based on qualifications, curriculum experience, subject expertise and relevant teaching experience.
- Coordinate interviews, demonstrations, assessments and selection processes with Academic Heads and School Leadership.
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, candidate databases and recruitment MIS.
- Ensure timely follow-up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

2. International School Talent Sourcing

- Develop specialized sourcing strategies for IB and Cambridge curriculum professionals.
- Proactively map teaching talent from reputed IB World Schools, Cambridge schools and International Schools across India.
- Build a database of teachers, coordinators, heads of departments and academic leadership professionals.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with potential candidates.




- Support recruitment for both teaching and selected academic leadership positions.

3. Recruitment & Selection Coordination

- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from requirement understanding to candidate joining.
- Prepare and publish job advertisements across appropriate recruitment platforms.
- Screen CVs and conduct initial HR discussions.
- Coordinate interview schedules with Academic and School Leadership teams.
- Maintain candidate evaluation and interview documentation.
- Conduct salary discussions and coordinate offer-related processes within approved parameters.
- Ensure a smooth candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

4. Onboarding & HR Coordination

- Coordinate pre-joining documentation and onboarding activities for selected teaching staff.
- Ensure completion of required employment documentation and verification processes.
- Coordinate joining formalities with HR, Administration and School Leadership.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records.
- Support HRIS/ERP updates and employee data management.

5. HR Operations

- Support day-to-day HR operations for teaching and non-teaching employees.
- Assist with employee queries related to HR policies, leave, attendance and other HR processes.
- Maintain HR documentation, recruitment reports and employee records.
- Support employee engagement and HR initiatives.
- Ensure HR processes are implemented in accordance with institutional policies and applicable regulations.

6. Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with the Principal, Academic Heads, Coordinators, School Leadership and Central HR/TA Team.
- Understand current and future manpower requirements.
- Provide regular recruitment updates and hiring MIS.
- Act as a professional point of contact between candidates and the School/HR team.
- Ensure effective communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

- Mandatory: Prior HR/Talent Acquisition experience in an International / IB / Cambridge School.




- Strong experience in sourcing IB and Cambridge curriculum teachers is mandatory.
- Candidates should have hands-on experience in recruiting teaching professionals for international curriculum schools.
- Strong understanding of IB PYP, MYP and DP recruitment requirements is highly desirable.
- Exposure to Cambridge / IGCSE teacher recruitment is preferred.
- Strong LinkedIn sourcing and Boolean search skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong candidate screening and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Good understanding of recruitment processes and HR operations.
- Strong MS Office and HRIS/ERP skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and recruitment priorities simultaneously.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM/Master's qualification in HR will be an advantage.

Experience

5–7 years of relevant HR / Talent Acquisition experience, with substantial experience in:

- International / IB / Cambridge schools
- Recruitment of IB / Cambridge teachers
- Teacher sourcing and talent mapping
- End-to-end recruitment coordination
- School HR operations

International / IB School HR sourcing experience is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be an HR/Talent Acquisition professional who has directly worked in an International / IB / Cambridge School and has hands-on experience sourcing and recruiting teachers. Candidates coming from a purely corporate HR/recruitment background without International/IB/Cambridge school recruitment experience will not be preferred.
