Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: South Region – Chennai, Bangalore & Hyderabad

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and business-driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support and drive HR strategy across our South India operations (Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad). The HRBP will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, ensuring alignment between business objectives and people strategy. This role requires solid analytical capability, business acumen, and the ability to proactively diagnose performance, engagement, and attrition challenges while designing practical HR solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Workforce Analytics

- Understand team structures, headcount, and manpower planning across Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
- Track and analyse:
- Team size and workforce distribution
- Attrition trends and root causes
- Productivity metrics
- Target achievement vs. business expectations
- Identify performance gaps and conduct root cause analysis for underperformance.
- Present monthly/quarterly HR dashboards and insights to leadership.

2. Performance & Target Alignment

- Partner with business leaders to:
- Understand revenue and operational targets
- Diagnose reasons for non-achievement of targets
- Design corrective action plans
- Monitor KPI alignment and ensure goal cascading across teams.
- Support performance improvement plans (PIPs) where required.

3. Employee Engagement & Sentiment Analysis

- Conduct regular employee sentiment checks (surveys, skip-level meetings, focus group discussions).
- Monitor morale, engagement, and cultural health.
- Identify early warning signals of dissatisfaction or burnout.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership and implement engagement initiatives.

4. Attrition & Retention Management

- Conduct structured exit interviews and analyze trends.
- Identify voluntary vs. involuntary attrition patterns.
- Design retention strategies based on business and workforce data.




- Collaborate with talent acquisition to forecast and plan manpower needs.

5. Grievance Handling & Employee Relations

- Manage employee grievances with fairness and confidentiality.
- Conduct grievance investigations and recommend resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory guidelines.
- Promote a culture of transparency and trust across locations.

6. Policy Design & Process Development

- Design and implement HR policies aligned with business requirements.
- Develop and document SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for:
- Sales teams
- Operations
- Support functions
- Performance management
- Employee lifecycle processes
- Ensure SOP standardization across Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
- Continuously review and improve policies based on business evolution.

7. Organizational Development

- Identify skill gaps and collaborate with L&D; for capability building.
- Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
- Drive cultural alignment and change management initiatives.

8. Compliance & Governance

- Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to labor laws.
- Maintain HR documentation and audit readiness.
- Implement best HR governance practices.

Qualifications & Experience

- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (preferred)
- 5–8+ years of experience as an HRBP or in a strategic HR role
- Experience managing multi-location operations (preferred)
- Strong exposure to performance management, attrition control, and employee relations
- Experience in building SOPs and HR policies from scratch is highly desirable
