We’re Hiring: Head – India Operations / Plant Head

PeelON is looking for an experienced, hands-on manufacturing leader to lead our India operations from our manufacturing facility in Visakhapatnam.

We are building and scaling advanced sustainable packaging solutions for fresh produce and other applications, serving customers in India and international markets.

The Role

You will take end-to-end ownership of plant and manufacturing operations, including:

- Production planning and execution
- Plant productivity, OEE and capacity utilization
- Yield improvement, scrap reduction and cost optimization
- Raw-material planning and procurement coordination
- Quality systems and process control
- Preventive maintenance and equipment reliability
- Inventory, warehousing and dispatch
- Manpower planning and productivity
- Manufacturing MIS, costing and operational KPIs
- SOP development and continuous improvement
- Capacity expansion and new equipment commissioning
- On-time customer order fulfilment

Who We’re Looking For

•5-10 years of manufacturing experience

- 5+ years in a senior plant/operations leadership position
- Experience as Plant Head, Unit Head, Factory Head, GM/AGM Operations, Manufacturing Head or equivalent
- Strong understanding of OEE, production planning, yield, rejection/scrap, maintenance,



quality and manufacturing costs
- Demonstrated experience managing production teams and shop-floor operations
- Strong problem-solving and execution capabilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial manufacturing environment

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:

Flexible packaging | Blown film | Polymer processing | Compounding | Printing & converting | Plastic packaging | Food packaging | Specialty chemicals | Process manufacturing

Candidates currently based in Andhra Pradesh or with strong roots in the region are particularly encouraged to apply.

This is not a desk-based operations role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, understands the numbers behind manufacturing, builds strong teams and can create systems as the organization scales.

The successful candidate will have the chance to grow into a broader India operations leadership role as PeelON expands its manufacturing and commercial footprint.
