Role Description The Head of Procurement will lead all procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, components, and services for liquid packaging machinery production. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Daily responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, overseeing supplier evaluation and selection, negotiating contracts and pricing, and monitoring purchasing processes for compliance and efficiency.





The role will also involve collaborating closely with production, engineering, and finance teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and support current product development. The Head of Procurement will be expected to drive continuous improvement in procurement policies, risk management, and cost optimization while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Supplier Management and Supplier Evaluation to build and maintain a high-performing supplier base.
- Candidates should possess robust Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms, manage risks, and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Candidates should possess solid Purchasing and Procurement skills to oversee end-to-end buying processes and optimize costs and lead times.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing procurement, preferably in machinery or engineering environments.
- Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP tools, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications in supply chain or procurement are an advantage.
