Role Description The Head of Human Resources will lead the HR function, aligning people strategies with the mission and goals of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini. This full-time, on-site role based in Mira Bhayandar includes overseeing HR policies, workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development. The role involves managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and maintaining transparent, fair HR practices.
The Head of HR will collaborate with leadership to design and implement initiatives that enhance organizational culture, staff engagement, and retention. The position also requires monitoring HR metrics,
optimizing HR processes, and guiding HR staff to deliver effective and responsive human resources services.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience leading an HR function or department.
- Solid knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and HR Policies, with a demonstrated ability to ensure compliance and implement best practices.
- Proficiency in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
- Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and learning and development programs.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that support organizational goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with HR data, metrics, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in mission-driven, educational, socio-political, or nonprofit organizations is highly desirable.
