About OREAL World AcademyOREAL World Academy is a new-age learning platform being built by VYUG, focused on the intersection of Gaming, XR, AI, Spatial Computing, and immersive technology.

We are building an academy that goes beyond conventional education — creating industry-relevant learning experiences that prepare students for emerging careers and technologies.

We are looking for a Head of Academy who can take ownership of the academy from the ground up and build it into a strong, outcome-driven learning business.

The RoleAs the Head of Academy, you will be the overall owner of the academy's operations, student experience, academic delivery, and growth.

This is a zero-to-one leadership role. You will work closely with the founders and leadership team to establish the academy's processes, programs, faculty network, student journey and operating model.

You should be comfortable working in a startup environment where you may need to build, execute, solve problems, and get your hands dirty, rather than simply manage an existing team.

Key Responsibilities1. Build &

- Lead the Academy

- Take end-to-end ownership of OREAL World Academy.
- Define and implement the academy's operating structure and processes.
- Build systems for admissions, onboarding, classes, attendance, assessments, student engagement, and completion.
- Establish a high-quality and professional academy experience.

2. Academic & • Program Management
- Work with the leadership team to structure and improve courses and learning programs.
- Ensure curriculum remains relevant to industry requirements.
- Coordinate with instructors, mentors, and industry professionals.
- Monitor the quality of teaching and student outcomes.
- Identify gaps in course delivery and continuously improve the learning experience.

3. Gaming / XR / Emerging Technology Ecosystem
- Understand the gaming and/or emerging technology ecosystem.
- Experience in gaming, game development, XR/AR/VR/MR, immersive technology, 3D,



spatial computing or related fields will be strongly preferred.
- Build relationships with industry professionals, studios, creators, and technology companies.
- Bring industry exposure and practical learning into the academy.

Student

Success
- Own the complete student journey — from onboarding to course completion.
- Track student performance, engagement, and retention.
- Build mechanisms to identify students who need additional support.
- Create a strong culture of accountability and outcomes.
- Develop industry exposure, projects, internships, and placement opportunities where applicable.

5. Faculty & • Team Management
- Hire, onboard, and manage faculty, trainers, mentors, and academy staff.
- Set clear performance expectations.
- Review faculty quality and student feedback.
- Build a strong teaching and academic support team.
- Ensure schedules and delivery commitments are consistently met.

6. Operations & • Execution
- Manage day-to-day academy operations.
- Create SOPs and reporting systems.
- Coordinate with HR, marketing, sales, product and technology teams at VYUG.
- Track key academy metrics and report them to the founders.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and resolve them quickly.

7. Growth & • Partnerships
- Work with the founders and business team to identify opportunities for academy growth.
- Develop relationships with colleges, schools, gaming companies, studios and industry partners.
- Support workshops, events, masterclasses and industry programs.
- Help build OREAL's reputation within the gaming and emerging technology ecosystem.

Gaming industry experience is a strong advantage, but not mandatory if the candidate demonstrates strong academic leadership, operations, and execution capabilities. What Success Looks LikeWithin the first 6–12 months, you should be able to:
