Role Description The Hardware and Networking Technician is a full time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. The technician will install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, peripherals, and network devices such as switches, routers, and access points. Daily tasks include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving hardware and connectivity issues, and providing hands-on technical support to internal users or clients.

The role also involves applying basic network security practices, documenting configurations and incidents, and coordinating with senior IT staff or vendors when complex problems arise.



The technician is expected to maintain a professional approach to service delivery and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Network Administration and Network Infrastructure skills for configuring, managing, and maintaining LAN/WAN environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Candidates should possess foundational Network Security skills for implementing and maintaining secure access, permissions, and basic protective measures.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of computer hardware installation, operating systems (such as Windows and Linux), and basic server maintenance.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and documentation skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a hardware and networking support role, preferably in an on-site environment, is highly beneficial.
