Graphic Designer — The Proteinest

About The Proteinest The Proteinest is a D2C plant-based nutrition brand. We build products people come back for, and we grow on brand and retention rather than ad spend. Design is how the brand shows up everywhere, so this role sits close to how we grow.

The Role

We are looking for a Graphic Designer who thinks like a brand builder, not just a designer who waits for a brief. Someone who brings their own ideas, has a point of view on design & can look at good work, understand why it works, and build on it in their own way. Alongside design, you will also edit and cut video for our reels and social content.

This is a role for an independent thinker. We will give you direction and context, not step-by-step instructions or ideas for every creative. If you need hand-holding on each design, this is not the role. If you are the kind of person who sees a blank canvas as an opportunity and enjoys experimenting, you will love it here.

We want someone optimistic and open-minded about design, always willing to try a new approach rather than defaulting to the safe one. You will help shape how The Proteinest looks and feels, and grow with the brand.

What You'll Own

- Design across all channels: social posts, ad creatives, website assets, packaging & campaign visuals.




- Edit and cut video for reels, ads & social content.
- Bring your own ideas and creative directions to the table, not just execute given ones.
- Study good design, understand why it works & build on it in your own way.
- Help shape and grow the brand's visual identity as we scale.
- Keep everything consistent, so every asset looks like one brand.

What We're Looking For

- A genuine sense of design. This matters more than years of experience.
- Someone who thinks about the brand, not just the individual creative.
- Independent and self-driven. You can take direction and run with it without hand-holding.
- Optimistic and open-minded, happy to experiment and try new things rather than play safe.
- The ability to look at other designs, understand them & bring your own take.
- Solid skills across Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma.
- Comfortable editing video for reels and short social content, with tools like Premiere Pro.
- Strong work to show, whether from a past company or your college projects.
- 1 to 2 years of experience. Freshers with a genuinely strong design sense are welcome too.

Nice to Have

- A degree in design or a related field. We will give these candidates priority.
- Prior experience designing for a B2C or consumer brand.
- Comfortable using AI tools to speed up your workflow.
