GitHub Contributor / Senior Software Engineer – AI Training

Location: Remote

Type: Contract | Approximately 15 hours/week

Compensation: $50–$150/hour

Openings: 100

We are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers with strong open-source contributions to work on an innovative AI training project.

Responsibilities

Fix complex software bugs and implement new features

Refactor and optimize existing codebases

Solve challenging software engineering problems

Create coding environments and reference solutions to train AI models

Review and validate technical solutions

Document technical reasoning and solution approaches

Requirements

Strong expertise in at least one: Python, Java, C++, Rust, Go, or TypeScript





Robust understanding of algorithms and data structures

Experience in debugging, feature development, refactoring, and performance optimization

Proven open-source contributions on GitHub or GitLab

Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills

Good technical communication and documentation skills

AI experience is not required.

Selection Process

Application → AI Interview (~30 minutes) → Technical Assessment (if applicable) → Hiring Manager Review

Availability: Candidates should be ready to start within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.
