Summary
Position Summary
Key Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a lead functional analyst and subject matter expert for Identity Governance and Access Management (IGA/IAM) initiatives, partnering with Product Owners, Security Architects, Engineering teams, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable identity solutions.
- Independently drive discovery sessions, stakeholder workshops, requirements gathering, analysis, and solution definition for complex Identity and Access Management capabilities, translating business objectives into actionable product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and implementation plans.
- Lead the design and governance of identity life cycle processes, including Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) workflows, user provisioning and deprovisioning, access requests, entitlement management, access certifications, recertification campaigns, and user access reviews.
- Define, analyze, and maintain authorization models, roles, entitlements, and access control frameworks, with experience supporting RBAC, PBAC, ABAC, and custom role-based security models across enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to establish and improve identity governance controls, ensuring appropriate ownership, approval workflows, Segregation of Duties (SoD) considerations, and access governance processes are implemented and maintained.
- Assess existing access management and governance processes, identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and drive recommendations that improve security posture, compliance, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
- Partner with engineering teams to support the implementation of authentication and authorization capabilities, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), federation, identity integrations, entitlement services, and governance solutions.
- Own backlog management and feature prioritization activities within Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or similar tools, ensuring alignment with product strategy, security requirements, and business priorities.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions and drive resolution of business, security, and technical dependencies while proactively identifying risks, issues, and mitigation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security standards, regulatory requirements, audit expectations, and industry best practices for Identity Governance and Access Management.
- Lead business validation and user acceptance activities for IAM and IGA capabilities, support production issue investigations when required,
and provide guidance for continuous improvement of identity governance processes and controls.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, governance artifacts, role definitions, entitlement catalogs, and stakeholder-facing materials to support effective adoption and ongoing governance.

Education/Background
- B.E / B.Tech
- Relevant IGA, IAM or AWS Security Certifications.
- Experience designing or governing custom RBAC and PBAC entitlement models within enterprise applications.
- Experience administering PBAC policies using Cedar, OPA or Rego.
- Experience implementing manual and automated access certification processes.
- Experience supporting access governance for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Working knowledge of CIAM and Workforce Identity solutions.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and cloud-native identity patterns.
- Experience working with audit, compliance, risk, and cybersecurity teams.
- Experience supporting highly regulated environments.
Key skills required
- 4+ years of Business and/or Product Analysis in IAM, IGA, or Security Product domain.
- Deep expertise in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) concepts and practices. Strong understanding of authentication and authorization patterns including SSO, MFA, RBAC, PBAC, RBAC
- Strong knowledge of Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management, Joiner-Mover-Leaver Processes, Entitlement Management, Access Certifications & Recertifications, Access Reviews, Segregation of Duties (SoD), Provisioning & Deprovisioning, Authorization Governance.
- Experience supporting or implementing Identity Governance Platforms such as Sailpoint, Saviynt or custom governance solutions.
- Experience leading workshops and independently managing stakeholder relationships.
- Experience managing product backlogs, features, and requirements using Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Strong process modeling and documentation skills using Visio or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of APIs, identity integrations, and security architecture concepts.
- Experience operating in Agile delivery environments.
