LinguaPlanet is looking for an experienced German Language Proofreader and Translator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating and proofreading content while ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency in German language materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate documents, articles, training materials, and other content into and from German.
- Proofread and edit German content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and accuracy.
- Ensure translations maintain the original meaning and tone.
- Review and improve translated content to meet quality standards.




- Collaborate with project teams to deliver assignments within deadlines.
- Maintain consistency of terminology and language usage across projects.

Requirements

- Native or near-native proficiency in German.
- Proven experience in translation and proofreading.
- Robust command of English and German languages.
- Excellent attention to detail and linguistic accuracy.
- Experience in handling professional, business, or educational content.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- German language certification (B2, C1, or C2) from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in localization, content review, or language training.
- Familiarity with translation tools and quality assurance processes.
