Role Description The Geotechnical Engineer (2 to 5 Years Experience) role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Navi Mumbai, with on site visits. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing site investigations, supervising field and laboratory testing, interpreting soil and rock data, and preparing geotechnical reports and recommendations. The role involves performing geotechnical analyses for foundations and earthworks, supporting engineering geology assessments, and assisting in the design of shallow and deep foundations for industrial, infrastructure, and energy projects.

The engineer will collaborate with project managers, survey teams, and clients to ensure that geotechnical solutions meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards,



while contributing to project documentation and technical presentations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Site Investigation and Engineering Geology, including planning boreholes, supervising drilling and sampling, and assessing ground conditions.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Soil behavior and Geotechnical Engineering, including interpretation of lab and in-situ test results and performance of stability and settlement analyses.
- Candidates should possess competency in Foundation Design, covering shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, and ground improvement concepts.
- Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in geotechnical projects, preferably in infrastructure, marine, or oil and gas sectors.
- Proficiency in geotechnical design and analysis software (e.g., PLAXIS, GEO5, or equivalent) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
- Solid analytical and report-writing skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Commitment to safe working practices, willingness to travel to project sites as required, and ability to work effectively in both field and office environments.
