Role Description The Furniture Designer will work in office at the Vadodara manufacturing facility in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with interior designers, engineers, and production teams.

Responsibilities include conceptualizing and designing modular furniture pieces and systems that align with client requirements, brand guidelines, and project specifications. The role involves preparing detailed design drawings, 3D models, and material specifications, and coordinating with carpentry and production units to ensure feasibility and quality.

The Furniture

Designer will participate in client discussions,



refine designs based on feedback, and support prototyping, sampling, and design improvements. Ongoing tasks include staying informed about industry trends, ergonomics, materials, and manufacturing techniques to create innovative, durable, and cost-effective furniture solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Furniture Design and Product Design, with the ability to develop creative, functional, and ergonomic concepts.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Furniture and Carpentry, including materials, joinery, and manufacturing processes for modular systems.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Interior Design to ensure furniture integrates seamlessly with spatial layouts and overall project aesthetics.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Furniture Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar) and familiarity with 3D visualization tools.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to read and create technical drawings, and aptitude for problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and interact with clients and vendors.
- Experience in modular furniture, corporate interiors, or commercial fit-outs is an advantage.
