Role Description The Functional Verification Engineer will work on-site in Hyderabad in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with design, verification, and validation teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing verification plans, creating and maintaining testbenches, writing and reviewing test cases, and performing simulation-based functional verification of RTL designs. The role involves debugging failures, analyzing coverage metrics, and ensuring that designs meet specification, performance, and quality requirements.

The engineer will participate in design and verification reviews, contribute to methodology improvements, and support validation activities aligned with project schedules and delivery milestones.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Functional Verification and RTL Design, including writing testbenches and test cases based on specifications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Debugging and Validation, with the ability to analyze failures,



root-cause issues, and validate fixes against functional and quality requirements.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar quality and process-compliance frameworks relevant to semiconductor design and verification.
- Strong understanding of digital design concepts, VLSI fundamentals, and common verification methodologies (e.g., UVM, SystemVerilog) is beneficial.
- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for simulation, coverage analysis, and regression management is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a quick-paced, project-driven environment.
