Role Description The FullStack Developer Intern will support the design, development, and maintenance of web applications that power WeIntern’s platform and internal tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end features, collaborating on back-end APIs, writing clean and testable code, and assisting in integrating databases and third-party services.
The intern will work closely with mentors and senior developers to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and improve user experience across the stack.
This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability for team stand-ups, code reviews, and collaboration via online communication tools.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for building responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development for implementing APIs, server-side logic, and database interactions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Full-Stack Development to work across the entire application lifecycle, from UI to server and data layers.
- Familiarity with up-to-date JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, Django, or Spring) is beneficial.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced remote environment are essential.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a technical program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
