Role Description This is a part-time, remote Full Stack Engineer (PHP + DB + AI Tools) role responsible for building and enhancing the company’s marketplace platforms. The engineer will develop and maintain back-end services using PHP, manage and optimize relational databases, and integrate AI tools to improve search, recommendations, and automation. Day-to-day tasks include designing, coding, testing, and deploying features across the full stack,



collaborating with product and design teams to refine requirements, and ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, refactoring legacy components, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including PHP and database design/management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Proficiency in Front-End Development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with Full-Stack Development, including integrating APIs, microservices, and third-party tools.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools or frameworks (e.g., recommendation engines, NLP APIs, ML services) and their integration into web applications.
- Knowledge of security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable architecture for high-traffic marketplaces.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace, manage part-time hours effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
