We are seeking an experienced Sr.

Software

Engineer to own the end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of contemporary, scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack engineering expertise across Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, TypeScript, React/Next.js, Microservices, AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.

This role requires strong technical ownership, architectural thinking, code quality, operational excellence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the complete software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of new features.
- Write high-quality, production-ready, scalable, secure, and testable code across backend services, frontend applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design solutions that balance architectural best practices with security, scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Build and enhance distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
- Investigate production issues and failures, identify root causes, and drive improvements in system design and operational excellence.
- Apply software reliability engineering principles throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure development artifacts comply with applicable security and regulatory standards.
- Participate actively in architecture discussions and contribute to the technology roadmap.
- Use Generative AI coding tools and AI-based development workflows to understand existing codebases and accelerate software development.
- Perform thorough code reviews and provide high-quality, actionable feedback.
- Collaborate with and mentor engineering team members,



promoting engineering best practices and continuous learning.
- Work effectively with US-based teams across time zones to deliver aligned, high-quality outcomes.
- Break down, prioritize, and estimate work for incremental delivery while proactively communicating risks and blockers.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7–9 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong experience designing and developing scalable, maintainable, extensible, and testable software systems.

Must-Have Technical Skills

Backend Development

- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and developing Microservices and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of scalable backend architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience designing low-latency and high-throughput systems.

Frontend Development

- Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with Node.js, React, and Next.js.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js is an added advantage.
- Ability to build responsive user interfaces and integrate frontend applications with REST APIs.

Cloud &

- Container Technologies

- Strong experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Hands-on experience with services such as EC2, Lambda, EKS, and RDS.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.




- Familiarity with Rancher and container orchestration environments.

Scalability &

- Reliability

- Experience building systems that handle high traffic and heavy workloads.
- Knowledge of circuit breakers, rate limiting, caching strategies, and resilience patterns.
- Strong understanding of software reliability and operational excellence.

DevOps &

- CI/CD

- Hands-on experience with Jenkins/CloudBees and GitLab.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps principles.
- Experience with collaborative development workflows, including:
- Git branching strategies
- Pull requests
- Code reviews

API &

- Platform Technologies

- Experience with technologies such as Apigee and Istio.
- Understanding of API management, service mesh, and modern application integration patterns.

Security

- Understanding of application and container security best practices.
- Preferred experience securing applications and containers using certificates and related security mechanisms.
- Ability to ensure solutions meet security and regulatory requirements.
