About TAPPP

TAPPP is building a digital sports platform that connects sports fans with broadcasters, sports teams, and sportsbooks. Our platform uses technologies including AI, Rules, Workflows, Microservices, FaaS, Micro-frontends, and Micro apps to deliver experiences across Web, Mobile, Roku, and Tablets.

Our Product Engineering team builds and supports the TAPPP platform end to end.

About the Role

We are looking for a Front-End Developer Intern to join our Product Engineering team in Pune.

This opportunity is suited for someone interested in Web, Mobile, and Connected TV development who has hands-on exposure to HTML5 and JavaScript through coursework, projects, internships, or personal development.

Experience with Roku, SceneGraph, or BrightScript is a plus, but is not required.

What You'll Work On

- Build and test web and front-end applications using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop reusable and responsive user-interface components.
- Contribute to applications for Web, Mobile, and Roku platforms.
- Work with frameworks such as React, React Native, or similar technologies.
- Learn and contribute to Roku applications using SceneGraph and BrightScript.
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Debug issues and improve application quality and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile development activities.
- Work with product, design, and engineering teams to implement product requirements.
- Use Git and modern software development practices.

What We're Looking For

- Pursuing or recently completing a degree or relevant program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering,



or any related or equivalent field.
- Hands-on exposure to HTML5 and JavaScript through coursework, projects, internships, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with CSS, responsive web development, DOM, JavaScript/ES6+, REST APIs, and JSON.
- Exposure to React, React Native, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks is helpful.
- Basic familiarity with Git or another source-control system.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Interest in building software and learning modern engineering practices.

Nice to Have

- Roku application or channel development experience.
- Familiarity with Roku SceneGraph and BrightScript.
- React or React Native projects.
- TypeScript exposure.
- REST or GraphQL integration experience.
- Experience with automated testing or CI/CD.
- Academic, personal, open-source, or hackathon software projects.
