Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Monsoon Empress in Kochi. This role oversees all food and beverage operations, ensuring a high standard of service in restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet outlets. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing staff schedules, supervising service quality, coordinating with the kitchen team, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

The manager will monitor inventory, control costs, and support budgeting and revenue targets, while implementing initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and optimize operational efficiency.



The role also involves leading, mentoring, and training team members, handling guest feedback, and collaborating with other departments to support events and special promotions.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, with the ability to maintain high quality and consistency across outlets.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction, complaint resolution, and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Experience in Training and developing food and beverage teams, including coaching, performance management, and skills enhancement.
- Proficiency in Budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis to manage departmental expenses and support revenue goals.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in hospitality operations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a quick-paced setting.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
